Employer Partners offer work placements to partipants completing the Life Skills Programme

On completing the Life Skills Programme, participants can choose to undertake further work experience placements offsite with the programme's Employer Partners, in order to build upon the theoretical and professional skills they have learned on the programme, and to further supplement their CVs.

The Life Skills Centre works with a series of Employer Partners, for example: The Soho Theatre, The BBC, Quintessentially, PR companies, security companies, local gardening schemes. Employer Partners are supported in offering structured work placements to graduates of the Life Skills Programme, and are in regular contact with the Life Skills team throughout. The placements themselves are flexible, but generally last between two weeks and one month. During this time, the participant is offered a unique insight into a new work environment and can tap into ever more professional training, while the Employer Partner is given the opportunity to contribute to an individual's personal development.

The partnerships established between the Life Skills Centre and their Employer Partners reflect the ethos in place throughout Quintessentially Soho at The House of St Barnabas, whereby charity and business practices work to support and develop one another, and address a need within their community.
