Donations to the House of St Barnabas
Every donation is valuable and will be put to immediate use. Small amounts donated each month cover essential daily expenses for the participants, while larger monthly donations provide the charity with the financial stability to plan ahead and develop its services.
£20 could pay for one participant to travel to and from those all-important interviews over the course of one month. While many of us take for granted the ability to trek the length and breadth of London, for some the cost of travelling often presents a major obstacle and can prevent individuals from taking the final steps to employment.
£50 could pay for one participant to supplement their CV with an accredited hospitality training course. Many participants approaching the Life Skills Programme at The House of St Barnabas do not have a CV. Your donation will help our participants make good this deficit and populate their CV with a series of recognised and up-to-date qualifications.
£100 could provide smart uniforms for six participants during their work experience placement on the Life Skills Programme. In order to become integrated with the House, the team provides the participants with the same uniforms as the full-time hospitality staff.

Under current UK legislation, there is no minimum amount you have to donate in order to qualify for the Gift Aid scheme. All you need to do is accompany your donation with the following statement:
I confirm that I would like The House of St Barnabas in Soho to treat my donation of £____ (amount) made on __/__/__ (date) as a Gift Aid donation. I currently pay income tax in the UK.
