The Wedding of Wonder
The House of St Barnabas offers a beautiful and unique venue for the perfect London wedding. This elegant Georgian Grade 1 listed building is suitable for both summer and winter weddings, and offers great flexibility so you can create the day of your dreams.
In addition to its historic rooms, which have some of the finest Rococco plasterwork in London, the House of St Barnabas has its very own Chapel and garden. It is licensed for weddings, and provides an intimate and romantic setting for a beautiful ceremony.
All year round the Chapel retains its charm. During the summer you can be married as the sun streams through the stained glass windows, or in the winter you can create a warm environment by using candlelight. This very special chapel will take your breath away by its unrivalled beauty.
Inside high ivy walls you will find our secret courtyard garden, where the Chapel provides a stunning backdrop for champagne receptions and wedding photographs. Alternatively, you may wish to use our historic rooms on the ground and first floors.
The Drawing room, with its original plasterwork and two dramatic chandeliers, overlooks Soho Square and makes a perfect setting for a luxurious wedding celebration.
For the evening's fun we recommend the ground floor Soho Room for live music/DJ and dancing, with the Old Library used as a bar area, giving easy access to the beautifully lit garden.
To give your special day an added twist, entertain your guests by surprising them with a live acoustic performance in the Chapel by candlelight.
By using The House of St Barnabas for your wedding, the money you spend will go directly to charity, which helps homeless and vulnerable people.
