Notice: 23rd March 2018

23 March 2018

Thank you so much for bearing with us over the past week. We wanted to share with you why the delay in being able to welcome you back in.
There is small /narrow room in the basement where the fire started and the room directly above will need rebuilding and another room close to it will need a lot of TLC. There is a lot of smoke damage and the entire building needs to be cleaned and fumigated (as a Grade I listed building this takes a little more time than normal).
“What does this mean for your participants and graduates of the Employment Academy?”

We have been able to continue with our training for our participants off-site and they will still be able to graduate with their City& Guilds qualifications. We have also continued to support all our graduates as they move into work and beyond.

“This is so sad – how can I help?”

We have been hugely encouraged by your messages of support. If you have a practical offer of help, please email us on And since so many of you have said you would like to donate you can do that by clicking here. Thanks SO much.

We want to say a massive thank you to…

Angela Fletcher, The London Fire Brigade,  the team of 1st responders from HoSB, Benugo, East West Connect, Connection Crew, Social Change Agency, e_Offices, G&T (Gardiner&Theobald) and the list of ever growing organisations that are responding very quickly to get us back up and running as quickly as possible.
