The House of St Barnabas and BUG present:
37 Things you need to know about Modern Britain Part 3: “Twitter is a Girl’s Best Friend”
BUG London, in partnership with The House of St Barnabas, organised a panel discussion that examined social media’s different tribes and behaviours with guests Suzanne Moore (Guardian columnist who left Twitter because of sexist attacks), Philippa Perry (psychologist and regular social media-user) and Poppy Dinsey (founder of online fashion business What I Wore Today). With Miranda Sawyer as their host, the guests unpicked the dark and light sides of social media and discuss where it’s headed in the future.
