Last October The House of St Barnabas won the London Homelessness Awards. The awards are the country’s leading homelessness awards with prize money awarded to the organisations that demonstrate innovative and creative solutions for tackling homelessness in our capital. In this video Employment Academy Director Ceri Sheppard and Employment Programme graduate Denise explore what winning means to HoSB and how the £30,000 prize fund is making a huge difference in supporting their work helping people on their journey back to independent lives.

Taste test: Christmas sandwiches

Over Christmas, Benugo donated 50p from every festive sandwich sold to The House of St Barnabas' Employment Academy. Each one of those delicious sandwiches enabled Benugo to donate £8,826.50, supporting people affected by homelessness into lasting paid employment. Jay Rayner sampled sackfuls of festive-season sandwiches...which one came out the winner?
