Reflecting on 2023 at the House.

Thank you so much for being part of another brilliant year at the House of St Barnabas. Thanks to your support, our impact this year has gone from strength to strength; we supported over 100 people on their journey towards good work, a stable home, and a supportive network. We launched our first major billboard campaign to challenge misinformation about homelessness, and got real traction on influencing Better Work in the hospitality sector to ensure more people who’ve experienced homelessness can secure sustainable employment. You can learn more about what we’ve achieved in our ten-year impact report here.

Throughout the roller coaster of the last few years, we’ve continued to invest in our impact and business and achieved life-changing results, alongside a new and improved brand, website, food offer and events programme – we hope you are enjoying them!

We are seeing growth and momentum in all our income streams and yet this is mirrored by rises in costs, as well as the impact of the bar ceiling incident in June. Huge thanks and appreciation for your patience and support through this year, for believing in us and our Employment Academy graduates and for drinking all those negronis!

As always, you can extend your support byreferring your friends and colleagues into membership and making a donation to support our life-changing work.

Thank you for being with us on the journey, we couldn’t do it without you!

See you in 2024!

Rosie Ferguson, CEO.
