The House of St Barnabas presents ‘Raising a SMILE’. An archival print edition celebrating the art of human happiness, made in collaboration with London based artist Graham McLoughlin. Following the people’s rainbow monument in Soho Square, the artist, also known as GREYGREY, is releasing 200 limited edition rainbow SMILE archival prints in support of the House of St Barnabas and Terrence Higgins Trust.
Available from the 2nd September and exhibited at the House of St Barnabas in Soho, the edition of 200 prints, 48cm x 48cm each, are hand finished and printed by Jealous Gallery in London. They are available for £100 and purchasable directly from Jealous Gallery, The House of St Barnabas, Terrence Higgins Trust and online at www.jealousgallery.com.
Following the steps of #OHelloSunshine, Soho Square´s permanent rainbow monument, the SMILE prints aim to radiate positivity, champion diversity and togetherness. Realised through the abstract representation of a smiling rainbow and imagined through concentric rings that radiate out towards the viewer, the prints are an expression everyone can relate to: an open smile — a humbling gesture that offers to bring people closer.
